Happy 18th Birthday Malisha! Tonight the family (Sumali’s Mum Mala, Sumali’s Dad Andrew, Sumali’s Brother Amila, Sumali’s Sister-in-law Khristine, Andy and Sumali) took Malisha (Sumali’s sister) to Jiminez in Baulkham Hills for some nice Mexican food. The service was great this time (quality of service really changes depending on when you go). The food was good (not fantastic like it sometimes can be) and we all got to sing happy birthday while they brought the cake in.

• Lol, we took my camera… but my “good” battery failed… (ask nigel about them batteries…) anyways, amila took a few with his mobile, but his doesn’t have bluetooth, so we’ll have to wrestle them off him…

Andy turned up in Sydney just before lunchtime after biking it all the way from Btown (crazy fool). Nice day really but Sumali was at work (extra shift at Myer). For lunch Sumali, Andy and Smily’s high school/primary school friend Simmy had lunch together at GPK (Gourmet Pizza Kitchen)  at the Piazza at Castle Towers (since Sumali gets only half an hour lunch on Sundays). Andy took the keys and got to check the place on his own. After work we went shopping at Bi Lo @ Towers and decided it was too far to go grocery shopping at. Late into the night our only option for dinner was Maccas down the road. That night was our first night in the apartment, airbed wasn’t too uncomfortable even with no sheets…all in all a very good start to our new life

• Nu-uh, here is how i worked it out: You get two 15s if you work over 8 hours so add that that to the half hour and you get an hour……plus i probably wasn’t paid correctly anyways so maybe i should’ve taken two hours? Beat that logic! You’re just jealous you weren’t invited :p

Hi everybody!

This is Andy and Smily, check out our kewl new site. Basically this is where we’ll put up photos and progress reports about life in Sydney. Andy says hi to Kitty……just kitty oh and Chewy and Hutch (f#$% Bundy).
