  • Malisha you never asked for any! My jam roll turned out terrible too by the way, it went all soggy in the fridge so I chucked it.

:D thanks Jo jo, the lamingtons turned out waaay better than my sponge cake experiment. Still haven’t figured out how to not ruin sponge cake…maybe attempt number 3 will be the charm?

What to do what to do…

Well this news just came in hot off the press: Andy’s still working on his computer…meanwhile I spent the evening cleaning the apartment for his poker night with work mates tomorrow. Our old neighbour has left as the rent got too steep for him which sucks because he was a really good neighbour. Hopefully the new neighbours are just as good. I’ve been thinking up some ideas for the wedding but it’s still a long way off yet. Oh look some bills to pay. Off I go…

  • bugger about your neighbour. Fingers crossed you have a good new one.
Have you guys set a date for your wedding yet??

    Comment by jo jo — March 6, 2009 @ 3:08 pm

  • Yeah the new ones look like a small family. They have a small car and that’s all that matters. Hopefully the rest of our car mirror stays intact from now on…

Hmmm…..wedding date……interesting you should ask. You know we need Mia for the flower girl so as soon as she start walking we’ll start planning :p But good news is that one of my good friends recently got engaged so I finally have somebody to help me plan stuff so take whatever date it was going to be on and bring it forward by a few months!

ANT Infestation!

We have ants! Last weekend we had to bring all the stuff from the balcony in to let the building people seal the balcony or whatever. This included the pot plants which Andy put in the bathtub and the dining table and bar which was put next to the kitchen bench. In no time at all the ants that were on them decided to start an expedition into our kitchen and now we’ve been finding the little critters everywhere. Including my kettle so now I have to buy a new kettle.

Andy meanwhile is busy working on his computer yet again. I don’t know what the heck he’s doing really…

He needs to put pics up of his ‘new baby’ too, I’ll let him do that himself. We rode to my parents place yesterday and took some clear pictures of it.

  • Had this problem the other day.

    Ant-rid = bye bye ants.

  • Truebie…we’ve been using a normal bug spray but they kept coming back. Looks alright now that we’ve put the potplants back outside but you still see a few wandering around here and there. They’ve already done their worst damage…my poor kettle :(
