Games Night
Hey everybody,
Thanks heaps to Rhea, Mark, Aaron, Lili and Eddie for attending "games night" at our place on Friday night. Yes we only played one game but still, best games night ever. Apologies to Lili for making her sit through Clerks 2 hehe…if she wasnt already feeling sick, she certainly left sick…
This is lili eating her cheese covered cream biscuit as punishment for losing jenga. More pics coming eventually.

Work and Yumcha
While Andy was off in South Australia over the long weekend I spent some time with the fam, did Malisha’s Myer shifts on Saturday and Sunday so she could study and then had the Monday off which will be my only day off for the next 3 weeks. Poor Andy is going to have to entertain himself (won’t be a challenge for him at all i’m betting). On Monday before Andy arrived (flight delayed by an hour), the fam went out for Yum Cha in Carlingford which has myteriously lost a lot of its usual customers…we contemplated why over chinese tea, rice noodles, dimsims, calamari, prawn dumplings, chicken rice, beef and pork noodle, fish balls, green veg (the nice type), soya bean pudding with syrup…there’s so much more variety when you go with a big group, we ended up having a lot of stuff. I took pics with their camera, will upload in due time…

What we’ve been upto lately
Well hello there, its been a while since I’ve posted properly so here’s a quick run down on the latest events:
We went out to dinner with Simmy and Jonathon on Friday and purchased an Entertainment Book for 2007 off them, its a fantastic little discount book which has pretty much already paid for itself. We went to a nice little Italian restaurant called Michelangelos in Carlingford Court where the one woman service was fantastic and made up for the rest of her staff which were pretty ordinary. We asked for a takeaway menu and got one with onions all over it. Gross!
On Tuesday we met Andrea for steak dinner at the Pennant Hills Inn. Rhyl was off in Melbourne or something snobbing us :p The steak was thicker this time around which was good.
On Wednesday we couldn’t be bothered cooking so we had pizza hut pizza, used a coupon which let us have two pizzas for 7.95.
On Thursday I went shopping at Parra with Mal (found some spiffy boots for $14, should be good for a few wears and a nice pair of woollen fingerless elbow length gloves) while Andy had fun on his own at home after which the family went out to dinner at another Italian restaurant called Belmontes in Baulkham Hills (tonnes better than the Belmontes in Penno).
On the Friday after that we were feeling lazy so we used our entertainment book at "Il Nidos" on Terminus Street near Towers which is guess what? An italian place! We have totally overdosed on italian and pizza which is ok because the Italian festival is on in Sydney right now but yeah…no more pizza/pasta for a while please. We tried taking photos we really did (ok well I did) but were a tiny bit too tipsy to get anything web worthy…
Saturday was our day off, we hung out and went plant shopping at Hargraves Nursery (50% off all plants over $14), Andy got a dwarf lemon tree and mandarin tree to put on the balcony, we also got some Basil and Coriander which is my baby, everybody says they will die within the next few weeks but you never know right?! I ended up getting a really nasty splotches all over my face and arms and neck after we got home from walking through all those weird plants. That night we played poker with Andi and Rhyl at their place (had pizza for dinner hehe…) Andy’s taken a few videos i’m not sure what he’s done with them.
Sunday I worked at Myer while Andy hung out and cleaned the apartment a bit and did the washing, we met for lunch (A potato for Andy, rice, mongolian beef and asian style veggies for me) which was nice. Dinner was some Subway from the place across the road, they’re really very nice people there.
And today we have Monday…basically just worked our butts off and came home for a nice relaxing evening with Burritos courtesy of Andy.
Wow that was a huge backlog of events….tomorrow who knows what will happen, perhaps its my turn to cook? Did I mention the time I made a nice pork curry/soup thing? Twas awesome. Anyhoo stay tuned for more!

I didn’t know where to write this note, if its in the wrong place you will have to tell me the right place. Andy I lost the chuzzle game on our computer, you know me when it comes to computers I am lethal. I tried to get instructions on how to play the game properly, and I must of done something wrong, it keeps telling me “buy now”. And wont let me play, can you help me or not. I play the game a lot its the only thing that helps me pass the day. Im still not working, I think the Occupational Physician is sending me to a Neurosurgeon, in Victoria, I find out on the 23 of May. Bye for now luv ya both. xxxx

Admin! Admin!
I have finally been invited to be an admin on my games server! Its awesome and sweet and just plain excellent!
Andy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After I managed to tear excited Andy away from the computer (which was hard after his whole "Admin"ship) we went out to dinner at our favourite (so far) Thai restaurant "Gail Thai" located a few streets away from our apartment in Central Avenue. We love it because we always find the last parking spot left, its BYO and hardly anybody else eats there which is a real shame because their Gaeng Massuman Lamb is fantastic (sweet curry mildly spiced with peanuts and potatoes). Perhaps their free home delivery for orders over $30 is their main source of income? Anyhoo it was a nice night out.
Yum Cha Fun and Family Dinners
Saturday was a pretty busy day for us. We ended up going to Towers to do some shopping after doing some washing. We checked out what movies there were and ended up seeing Disturbia (which Andy will write about later), then we walked around shopping, picked up my new leather jackets (red and pink yay!) and for lunch we had Yum Cha up at the Phoenix chinese restaurant which had great service as usual and the usual variety of yum cha.
After that we had to hop step it and get our apartment ready for a dinner party for my family: Mum, Dad, Malisha, Amila and Khris. I did the vacuuming and salad and Andy did the Pasta and Garlic Bread and pretty much everything else. We ran out of spices so I had to drive really quickly to the nearby shopping centre and pick up some supplies. As soon as everybody arrived we ate because the food was ready to be served, Andy did very well. For drinks my mum brought some pineapple cruisers, Amila and Khris brought their red wine and me and Andy had our Muscatto:
Check out all the family dinner pictures here.
Hogs Breath on a Thursday Night
After veggin out on the sofa watching tv (Harry Potter) on a Thursday night, we decided we’d best do something so dinner at Hogs Breath Cafe it was.
Castle Towers Piazza level 5 is host to one of the nicest (and expensive) steak places in town.
I had a steak and ribs combo and Andy had a mixed platter thingy. I decided mine was the best and Andy decided his was better so I guess we each ordered the best thing. The steak was nice but they forgot my pepper sauce, it took them a while but they finally got it to me after i’d eaten everything else on the plate. Luckily i’m not fussy about stuff like that……
Hi! Andy what is the minimum you want for the golf and cricket gear? How long was Raymond in Sydney for? You seem to be having yak weather there, we were suppose to get very strong winds etc but it wasn’t as bad as they thought it would be. Lots of rain though which is very good. Later when Sumali isn’t so busy I’ll get her to go to the quilting shop to see if they have any quilting magazines with DVD included.
I have finally got a date when I start at the Primary School, the second week of the third term. Last week in July. So that will be interesting I hope.
Catch ya later, Luv ya.
Hiya Dana,
Umm, $50 for the cricket… and $150 for the golf gear, assuming it hasn’t gone rusty… Ray was here for 3 nights, , was meant to be 3 days, but he missed his flight, so it was only friday and saturday during the day. Lol yeah, weather hasn’t be the best, but i have wet weather gear so i dont mind. I’ll have to get smily to check out the quilting place on the weekend. we can do that now that shes finished at myer:) Awesome stuff bout the primary school, hope it works out well for you. Andy
