We got a big ladder to help us paint and stuff around the house. Its got adjustable legs for use on uneven ground. Works an absolute treat!

  • Very clever ladder – if you look a few posts later you’ll notice Khris finished the rest of the painting on that side. I’m surprised chewy doesn’t have more paint on him…

Garden Shed-b-gone

I also pulled down the little garden shed thingy which was along side the house. Just a few bashes with the sledgy and a bit of a push…

Commish

Schweet… It would appear the housing commission have replaced a fence which just so happens to boarder our house!

I knew there was a reason I hadn’t started to replace it myself yet…

There is one more section to go, but that house is also housing commission owned, so fingers crossed ;)

Note: I know the pics are fuzzy, must be a dodgy setting on the camera

  • You have to be lucky sometimes. got my fingers and everything else crossed for you. If you don’t like the color complain you never know, tell them it does not match your dog.

  • The greens not too bad, now we have two green and one brown fence and one half falling over. Chewy took full advantage of the new hole in the fence and got to meet our neighbours this morning, he’s so well-mannered he got away with it.

Hi Rhea :) looking fwd to seeing you again we’re not going to be able to do poker nights again for a while but we’ve really gotten into the fire/bbq thing. Won’t be able to do it for much longer with fire bans and stuff coming up so will have to organize something soon.

Making room for the new fence means a few trees and bushes must go!

Under the House

IMG_7731 IMG_7735 IMG_7736 IMG_7737  IMG_7739

We have replaced the door and door frame for under the house. Now they we have a decent lock (and alarm sensor) we have been able to move all the stuff under there making room up stairs

Tanks!

IMG_7716 IMG_7717 IMG_7718 IMG_7740

We picked up some 2500ltr tanks through work. No gutter yet to plumb them in, but hey, an untimely bargain is still a bargain…

  • Our neighbour wanted to take one for himself when he found out how cheap we got them for, had a bit of an awkward moment saying no. They only ask cos they’re German they don’t know any better <- Andy said that.
