Ok thats it.

The saga continued on Friday: I took the car to NRMA in Waitara (near Hornsby) at about 1:30pm (half an hour late because i got lost on the way, turns out i’d driven past it at least 3 times). They took one look at it and told me it wasn’t roadworthy and would have to be left behind. They called me a taxi but the taxi never arrived. I told the receptionist lady i had to meet somebody important in the city (read between the lines or ask Andy what this means) at 4 so she got some guy who worked there to drive me back to Pennant Hills. He was a really weird guy and he refused to do a u-turn at the lights to go back along the road we’re on (if you’re coming from the Hornsby direction you actually have to go past our place and turn back) so we went through the bottle-o…

Anyhoo i got home late so then i got dressed real quick and managed to get to the station in time to miss the train by seconds….then i bought a ticket and rang up the person I was meeting to say why i was late and she said she couldnt see me after 4 cos she was all booked up. Sigh! Luckily i hadn’t gotten on the train yet when i called her so I explained to the train ticket guy why i wasnt going to the city anymore and he was nice and refunded my $6.40. Also after i left work, i checked my phone and my boss had left me a message that i’d got the pay rise i’d been asking for! So i really don’t know if it was a good day or a terrible day…

Hmm what else…I discovered a burn on my arm, not sure where i got it from, must’ve been from the pizza cooker i keep banging into. I’ve decided we need a sandwich press. Speaking of cooking: The other day it was my turn to cook, it wasn’t long before I had to go get Andy’s opinion “why is the room filling up with smoke before i even started cooking?” Seriously…why would the pan start smoking before anything is in it?!? And i don’t mean a little bit, the room was filling up. Anyways, today i made Andy some nice wraps, it had eggplant, tomatoes, beef strips, cheese, onion, lettuce, and some other stuff from the dark corners of the fridge. He said he liked it so yay for me!

Amila came over on Thursday night for a quick game of pool, it was a very close game. It was his birthday on Monday so we went out to Kellyville for a nice family dinner.

  • I’ve been happy with my Breville sandwich press, it has an adjustable height stop (so your sanwiches do’nt finish 1mm thick). Make sure it’s big enough. on the topic of cooking i’m preparing a turkey roll roast from Watsons Turkey farm, straight from freezer to skillet (mmm crispy on the outside, frozen on the inside). Been driving the x1/9 about a bit ( dumb idea ), decided to join the RAA (will hopefully help when the dumb idea breaks down) when I was at Mt Gambier to see the surgeon.

  • Sumali, So Sorry we joked about your car crash, we were really concerned. We just have a strange way of showing it. Hope all mends well with you, the car, and the other lady you collided with. How are things going with both your jobs. Jo and Wayne were home for a short time over the weekend picking up their outdoor setting. I certainly miss you all. Especially hugs from Andrew.
I could certainly use them lately. Thinking of you both, luv ya.

  • Ello Nigel! I actually like sandwiches that are squished beyond recognition…we’re not going to go shopping until we have my car back, Andy’s enjoying going shopping with me and saying “nup that wont fit on the bike, can’t buy it.”

Hehe no worries Dana, Andy’s parents are allowed to make fun of me! Yeah Andy hugs are the best, don’t worry we’ll be down around christmas time so only another two months to go.

  • Rod wondered if you drive your car like you cook? “Joke Joyce”!!!!!
It’nt he mean. We were trying to work out whos fault it was. Lets change the subject.
Michael, Kate and Isabella are moving into their new house this weekend. Kate starts work at Gumeracha Hospital as a Social Worker, the hospital is a country town about 15km from Williamstown.
I told Rod what I wrote about what he said about you, he called me a bitch.
Catch you later, bye luv ya.

  • Hehe thanks…just so it’s clear: I usually drive better than i cook! I would rather drive in the city than cook one meal…actually both of those sound equally bad. If it must be known, the whole accident was entirely my fault…I plan on sending the poor lady some chocolates for ruining her day. That’s all i’ve got to say about it!

Back Online

Hi Peeps,

Back online once more! adsl2+ is sweet…. We have actually had it back for a week now, but haven’t got around to blogging till now. Things to do, ya know.

Work has changed a bit, i now start at 7:30 till 4:30, instead of 6:30 till 3:30. Traffic is heavier, but i carve through it okay. I have also been signed on to do 1 saturday out of 4. Sucky i know, but they have amended my wages so for the 4 hours im there im basically getting paid 2.5x normal rate. That seems fair to me… My off sider still hasn’t been finallized. Hopefully it will soon as im so busy at work im getting over whelmed.

My Games adminning is going well. I’ll get full access to the servers once i sorte out my linux system at home. its one of those thingst that take time. The forums are back up also which is great games.exetel.com.au if your interested.

We are having a games night on saturday. poker, 8ball, uno and jenga. Should be good!

Anyways, i have some games to invest time in, so ttfn!

slowly dying…

Hi all,

Just a quick update while i’m on the internet at work, we STILL haven’t got internet at home…it’s become so painful! It’s been well over a week, bordering on two…me and Andy are wandering around aimlessly like lost souls in an analog sea. We had to RING pizza hut to make our order the other day instead of using the usual website ordering system…

What’s strange is we’re starting to find other stuff to do like on the weekend we bought a 1000 piece puzzle (the picture is a whole bunch of smarties so it’ll be hard to do) and we managed to get the border around it done. It’ll be interesting to see if we get back to it once internet is back within our reach.

Stuff we’ve done lately:

  • Andy built my parents a really solid archway for the bottom of the garden where the path forks.
  • We hung out with Andrea heaps, Rhyl’s been away somewhere doing stuff.
  • Went on mini bushwalks (a few hundred metres..)
  • Watched heaps of movies and sat around…
  • Played heaps of pool…

Ok home time, byes!

Got a few bits and pieces from ikea… lol we will not be going next weekend tho, that would make it 4 weekends in a row…

Paid for the pool table on saturday…

Oooh friday we went and checked out Annabelles new appartment! its quite flash, 19 floor with views of the city. Lol looking over the edge its definitely high enough…

We are going somewhere with smily’s family for fathers day, nothing is booked so im sure we’ll be waiting ages….

Jojo called on friday which was nice. doh… i was meant to call her back on saturday… whoops!

Anyways, toodles time!

Andy

Friday Morning

Goood Morning ppl,

Another Friday morning already! Amazing! Time really is flying! Must be having fun!

Plans for this weekend… Pay for billiards table… finish setting up the apartment…. bring the last of Sumali’s furniture from her parents place… that’s the stuff out of the ordinary!

Ooh, my assistant has got the job at Parramatta, but the area manager won’t approve it until he trains a new person in the receivable section of the store. I’m getting a new assistant which is sweet. He’s guy who has been in the receivable section for about a year now, his my age, married, got a kid. Much more mature and responsible. I think we’ll make some really good progress!

Well its 5:30am now, I had best get some brekkie and head off to work!

  • Dad looks great in the beanie you got him, he has worn it everyday since receiving it. His arm is slowly getting better, but his car is getting worse. Hopefully nothing else will go wrong with it. Once the Harmonic Balance and a few more new tyres the 4wd should be good as new.
Wayne was in Bordertown this weekend so sell some more tractor gear. They still have’nt had anyone look at the house. Although the guy that has the junk place across the road from the swimming pool still wants to buy it. But if he buys it no one will want to buy the house.
Nothing much more has changed, the little kittens are so cute especially the grey one.
    Buy for now, luv ya.

  • oooh! Peppy had her kittens?!?! how many?!?!

    Comment by andy — September 2, 2007 @ 6:10 pm

  • Hi I didn’t know you could comment on my comment. Peppy had 3 kittens, 2 Boys. The second kitten was breech, got stuck coming out, so I had to pull it out. I tried resus on it but it was dead, so I flushed it down the toilet. The grey one is a little smaller than the black and white one, may be because he was born a day later. Dad goes into hospital next Wed 12th and the operation on the 13th. We will be staying in Adelaide for a week or so, I hope to take some holidays in a weeks time. Catch you later. luv ya

OMG, long time no blog… Again!

Hello Hello,

Sorry guys, i have been tardy again with the posting. Last time i said to myself i’d never let it go two days without blogging. Ha…

Annnyways, lets see…. Ooh, work is heaps different now, the guy who interviewed and hired me has been forced to resign… The business still wasn’t making budget so…. Lol must make sure i never become a branch manager…. Also my assistant never got his CPM role, so now his go to an interview to be transfered to the Parramatta branch. So sad, too bad :-p Also, the plumbing warehouse dude has also applied to be transfered the Marrylands  store. This is a shame as he’s a good worker and friend. But to be fair, marry lands is walking distance to his home, and he’d get paid the same for a lot less physical work….

I’m still doing well at my work, the area manager has been spending a lot of time at my store as we have been without senior management. He offered me a position in Darwin to work for 2 weeks as they are going to be in need of an experianced branch assistant up there in October. I’m not really right for that as i have spent less than 10minute on the front counter and its a purely plumbing store, so insteading of  drowning i turned it down. A shame, as i could have caught up with Ray with free travel and accommodation, but yeah still nice to be offered…

Me and smily are alone! our room mate has moved out! we have been a bit bad… Today we put a deposit on a $3998.00 billiard table at B&B Billards… We haggled them down to $3600 and upgraded accessory pack… We’ll get it delivered within two weeks… I know, were bad… Its flash as… Just uploaded a pic of the style. We are getting a 7′ table, so it’ll have 4 legs, not 6, burgandy felt and dark walnut stain. Its the most upmarket 7′ table they make…

Ordered Table

Okay, time for bed! chat latter peeps!

Andy
