A big thankyou to Rhea, Aaron, Simmy and Jonathon for donating to Andy’s poker night cause :p Aaron and Sumali were out early, followed by Jonathon, then Simmy. Rhea got very close to winning but it ended up being Andy that won in the end. We’re hoping you come back!
We has a flash slideshow with a disco theme from Photobucket here but it was really annoying so here’s a link to it instead.

After I managed to tear excited Andy away from the computer (which was hard after his whole "Admin"ship) we went out to dinner at our favourite (so far) Thai restaurant "Gail Thai" located a few streets away from our apartment in Central Avenue. We love it because we always find the last parking spot left, its BYO and hardly anybody else eats there which is a real shame because their Gaeng Massuman Lamb is fantastic (sweet curry mildly spiced with peanuts and potatoes). Perhaps their free home delivery for orders over $30 is their main source of income? Anyhoo it was a nice night out.

Saturday was a pretty busy day for us. We ended up going to Towers to do some shopping after doing some washing. We checked out what movies there were and ended up seeing Disturbia (which Andy will write about later), then we walked around shopping, picked up my new leather jackets (red and pink yay!) and for lunch we had Yum Cha up at the Phoenix chinese restaurant which had great service as usual and the usual variety of yum cha.
After that we had to hop step it and get our apartment ready for a dinner party for my family: Mum, Dad, Malisha, Amila and Khris. I did the vacuuming and salad and Andy did the Pasta and Garlic Bread and pretty much everything else. We ran out of spices so I had to drive really quickly to the nearby shopping centre and pick up some supplies. As soon as everybody arrived we ate because the food was ready to be served, Andy did very well. For drinks my mum brought some pineapple cruisers, Amila and Khris brought their red wine and me and Andy had our Muscatto:

Hi peoples, thankyou for visiting! We haven’t had much time to get this totally working yet so please note: THERE ARE A LOT MORE PHOTOS COMING!!! There will also be some videos of the apartment coming soon and i’ll be setting up links to the RSS feed. This will all be as soon as we’ve got ourselves sorted out. In the meantime feel free to read the few posts we do have and check out our growing Flickr album and out Photobucket Album and don’t forget to vote in our latest poll (on the sidebar further down the page).

After veggin out on the sofa watching tv (Harry Potter) on a Thursday night, we decided we’d best do something so dinner at Hogs Breath Cafe it was.
Castle Towers Piazza level 5 is host to one of the nicest (and expensive) steak places in town.
I had a steak and ribs combo and Andy had a mixed platter thingy. I decided mine was the best and Andy decided his was better so I guess we each ordered the best thing. The steak was nice but they forgot my pepper sauce, it took them a while but they finally got it to me after i’d eaten everything else on the plate. Luckily i’m not fussy about stuff like that……

Back from Ettalong Beach this morning after the Easter long weekend, we have fresh pictures to share! We drove up via the F3 just past Woy Woy to Ettalong where we stayed at the “Mantra”. It was a very posh kind of place that surprisingly didn’t have the best service we’d ever experienced despite being the most expensive place we’ve stayed. The breakfast buffet was good however (as all buffets are!)Â Andy still believes its an “eyesore”, you can make up your own minds:
ÂÂ
On the way there we stopped by at The Entrance (which was actually further away) and had an expensive prawn basket for lunch which we decided never to have again…

Check out the latest map of where we’ve been here on Google My Maps.
While going for a walk along Pearl Beach which is a few minutes drive away from Ettalong Beach, me and Andy decided to kick it up a notch and have a Picnic on the beach. Get it?!?!
We also got to check out some pretty nice scenery while we drove around:

We had a really nice Easter weekend, it all felt like a holiday while on holidays. Check out more photos on our Albums page. Seeya in the next post!

Well…it was a long drive to Berambing in the heart of the Blue Mountains but we finally made it just in time for Dean’s (Sumali’s boss) wedding to Brooke. The weather was nice, the chapel was small and cosy. It got nippy at times but the sun warmed us up nicely. Alfred (Sumali’s colleague) forgot to videotape the first part of the ceremony, if it wasn’t for Andy’s quick thinking Alfred would have missed the whole lot. The reception was nice, each table got a few cameras to take snaps of each other with and we got to draw other people at the reception on pieces of paper and other strange/fun things like that.

Yesterday we had a little house warming party, mostly Annabelle’s friends (mutual friends through Myer) and a few of my friends that had nothing better to do that night hehe. Had a blast with our friends, the others were a bit weird and sports crazy, just kidding, they weren’t that sports crazy :p …..We’ll have a proper house warming later when we get our sh*t together

I had to work today, took a picture of the rather scary looking sky before I began an extra shift at Myer (6 to 9:15)
