Hey y’all,
While Andy was busy doing some mulching/painting today I added a subscribe block to the sidebar. When you’ve subscribed you’ll be sent an email whenever we write a new post or we want to send out a notification. I haven’t really tested it yet so do check back here every now and then in case it hasn’t worked. If you’re not getting emails send us one and we’ll add you manually.
To subscribe you just enter your email address and hit ‘subscribe’. You will be sent a confirmation email so check your junk mail box if you don’t get anything in your inbox. If the confirmation email made its way to your junk mail remember to add our email address to your safe list or your contacts list so any emails get sent to your inbox from then on.
Click on the link in the email to complete your subscription and if you ever want to unsubscribe, repeat the same process as above and hit ‘unsubscribe’ or you can just email us.
What are you waiting for? Go on it’s right there —>

Commish
Schweet… It would appear the housing commission have replaced a fence which just so happens to boarder our house!
I knew there was a reason I hadn’t started to replace it myself yet…
There is one more section to go, but that house is also housing commission owned, so fingers crossed
Note: I know the pics are fuzzy, must be a dodgy setting on the camera

Tanks!
We picked up some 2500ltr tanks through work. No gutter yet to plumb them in, but hey, an untimely bargain is still a bargain…

Our neighbour wanted to take one for himself when he found out how cheap we got them for, had a bit of an awkward moment saying no. They only ask cos they’re German they don’t know any better <- Andy said that.

Rest In Peace Achiami
Padma Wijesekara, my grandmother on my mothers side, passed away quietly in her sleep last week with the funeral taking place tomorrow. ![]()
Having left Sri Lanka shortly after we settled in Australia, she kept an eye on us kids and we have so many funny and wonderful stories from those years but in recent years she had been quite ill and was being taken care of by the lovely nurses at the Donald Coburn Center nearby when she passed away. We saw her the night before and it did look like she was at peace but she will be missed greatly.

Pretty impressive Andy, keep up the good work you may be able to double your money and then sell and buy another one to renovate and that keep you of the streets and poor

You have to be lucky sometimes. got my fingers and everything else crossed for you. If you don’t like the color complain you never know, tell them it does not match your dog.
Regards Dad

The greens not too bad, now we have two green and one brown fence and one half falling over. Chewy took full advantage of the new hole in the fence and got to meet our neighbours this morning, he’s so well-mannered he got away with it.
Hi Rhea
looking fwd to seeing you again we’re not going to be able to do poker nights again for a while but we’ve really gotten into the fire/bbq thing. Won’t be able to do it for much longer with fire bans and stuff coming up so will have to organize something soon.
