Sorry I haven’t been blogging again… I pulled my puter apart. again. anyways, its back together now and 98% operational! 1 fan and 1 temp gauge isn’t working, but thats not essential.

Smily here. Well I haven’t blogged in a while but I had to about this hilarious moment. On the weekend I told my parents to go look at my site. I actually meant my portfolio site but they thought I meant this one. My dad couldn’t remember the link so he typed in “Andy and Smiley” into Google which wouldn’t have worked at all as he spelt Smily with an e. But on that list of results something that caught his attention was the link with this title: ‘Andy and Smiley Sleeping Together’ which sounds sooo bad!!! Poor mum freaked out. I won’t spoil the surprise but go ahead and [click here] to check out what it actually turned out to be (don’t worry it’s safe).
In other news I’ve just started my new job as a front end web developer (more design work involved than my previous php developer position) and I’m really liking it so far. As most of you would have already known my last job really sucked (but to be fair they had good perks). My new employer has got a big project coming up that will take a lot of hard work so unfortunately this means we won’t be able to take the time off that we had planned on earlier to drive down to SA but will definitely plan something in the new year.

I ordered a few more bits for my new puter case today, only to get a reply that the main part of the order isn’t currently available! whatta butt hole… I gotta get it from these ppl too, because i have some store credit there i gotta use up…
Nigel left Sydney today. His flight was delayed for an hour, but he got there safely. I took him to work on Monday morning which worked out well, I flogged off some stuff my customers no longer buy. His happy cos he got good prices, I’m happy cos i got rid of some shit, and my managers are happy cos it makes the NRNC (Non-ranged, none committed) report look great.
Okay, i gotta play some puter games now, they are calling me…

Hey peeps, I have my puter back! well kinda…. I haven’t hooked up the on button yet, so to turn it on i gotta short out the connection with a screw driver, but schmeh… Some where in the building process i seem to have killed one DIMM slot, so I’m only running 1g of RAM ATM, still good enough to do most things, just a bit slower… Twill take a pic and upload shortly… what the hell, I’ll take one with my phone now and transfer via Bluetooth, so much easier than cables…
I’ll take better quality photos when its finished…
Nudgeness is coming over tomorrow so we’ll have to try out every pizza place in syd…
Andrea brought Bill Jim over today which made Smily’s day. She’s still working from home after spraining her foot…
Anyway, expect more posts soon as I have run out of excuses…. or have I…
Finally a new posting! I check every day waiting to see what you guys are up to.
I saw Nigel the other day and he said he was goin to visit you.

Well some of you may have noticed we haven’t blogged in ages, this is due to a few reasons. I’ve got a new job in the city that takes an extra two hours away from the usual me time I have every day, also being in the city means I’m more likely to stay there for dinner with friends too so I usually end up coming home very late and totally exhausted.
Andy has pulled his computer apart and is redoing it with a clear plastic case and cutting up the wires and other nerdy stuff for it and he’s refused to use my computer to blog.
In other news it was my birthday the other day, a big thanks to those that helped me celebrate it. Andy got me an awesome mini laptop and the family got me a bread maker so we’ll be eating fresh bread made to order from now on.
In bordertownian news Nigel is doing a web site for country music, Andy’s going to be an uncle (congrats Joanne!), we’ve bought the plane tickets for Kate and Michael’s wedding and Andrea has been looking ready to pop lately, I’ve got a shoddy camera phone pic of us that I’ll try and put up soon.

Hey happy birthday to the lovely Khristine, we’ll be having a family dinner next week so I’ll see you then. After we take photos then I’ll replace the one on the left, hopefully the fact that Amila looks like a total dork in this pic makes up for putting a pic of you up hehehe. That reminds me we still need to get Amila his birthday present…we’re only ten months late ahahahaa that’s what happens when you’re related to me, you get your presents really really late and random pictures of you appear on the internet. Found some old pictures of the view from our balcony during sunnier days. The balcony is really nice for hanging out on during the warmer days despite the trains. Not sure if I’ve posted these up yet or not…the mandarin tree has really flourished since these photos were taken, should have taken more photos as it grew. Oh wellz.

We have been wanting to getta decent vacuum cleaner for some time, as the one I brought from Bordertown was great on tiles, but was an uber pain on carpet.
So here it is! we gotta Dyson DC14 for $395, down from $649rrp. End of financial year sales ftw!

Ha! First of all I do the majority of all the (non-physical) cleaning thankyou and secondly thanks for putting a pic of me up that makes me look like I’m having constipation issues.
But anyways, thankyou Dana! Andy is loving his new toy although I I’ve definitely used it the most.
Lol yes that’s true, I do all the physical cleaning, she does the imaginary, and theoretical cleaning
